Role: |
Sophie deals with all areas of matrimonial and family work, including divorce, financial matters upon divorce, cohabitation disputes, domestic violence and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. She specialises in child-related matters, including adoption, contact and residence disputes. |
Clients: |
Sophie represents a range of private individuals. She is a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) and adheres to its code of practice to conduct family cases in a conciliatory manner. |
Career to date: |
Sophie was raised and educated in Norfolk. She graduated from Keele University with a first-class honours degree and a master's degree before commencing her training. She qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and worked within a busy matrimonial department at a local firm for eight years before joining Rogers & Norton in 2011.

After work: |
After the arrival of her second child, Sophie reluctantly gave up her season ticket at Norwich City Football Club but she remains an avid fan. She is a trained Independent Visitor (a mentoring scheme for children in care). Sophie is kept busy with her two young children and, when not working, changing nappies or dealing with playgroup committee matters, Sophie can often be found asleep! |
